A few words on the University of Waterloo's decision to suspend their entire football team due to 9 players testing positive for steroid abuse. This is nothing more than political correctness on Waterloo's part, and a chance for the CCES to score more government funding, which can go towards fattening staff salaries while doing nothing to reduce drug abuse. Players that tested negative are being punished by an administration that cares so little about athletics they see this as a cost saving measure which may lead to permanent folding of the program. I hope someone contacts Bill Gates and has him support Warriors football. Maybe Bill will refuse to visit UW unless the clean players are allowed to compete this fall. I'd like to see Haida Saalalalami(UW Admin) or whatever the hell his name is take such a "brave " stand then. If this were the cricket team, my guess is they'd beplaying next season.
